One Card, Two Fates
Shanhai Exorcist: Yin-Yang Chronicles is a single-player, turn-based roguelike deckbuilder inspired by Chinese tales of spirits and demons. Every card has a Yin and a Yang face. Flipping is not a simple upgrade: it changes the card’s cost, effect, and purpose for the current turn.
Flip the Card, Change the Answer
A defensive card can become an attack; a setup card can turn into a burst finisher. Read enemy intents for attacks, defense, counters, and disruption, then decide whether to play, flip, or preserve your resources. The right sequence can turn a dangerous turn into a lethal opening.

Four Distinct Ways to Build
-
Sword: Build Sword Intent, unleash chained strikes, and sheathe your blade before greed leaves you exposed.
-
Five Phases: Arrange elemental seals, manipulate generation and overcoming cycles, then trigger resonance.
-
Summoning: Deploy summons, adjust formation, issue commands, and choose the right moment to sacrifice.
-
Karma: Plant causes and karmic debts, let them mature, then settle everything in one decisive turn.

Adapt Every Run
Choose routes across a branching map of battles, events, and high-pressure encounters. Collect cards, relics, and elixirs, then reshape your deck around the resources the run actually gives you. Normal, Hard, and Nightmare difficulties are available.
