● About PhantomWorks

PhantomWorks is a digital content studio based in Taipei’s East District.
The team adopts a fully part-time, flat-structured, flexible workstyle,
aiming to maximize each member’s creativity.
They are currently focused on developing the 3D narrative game “ARIE: Moonprayer”,
with a strong emphasis on human emotions, atmosphere, and visual storytelling.

● What is “ARIE: Moonprayer”?

“ARIE: Moonprayer” is a Japanese animation–inspired exploration adventure game.
The story takes place in a world facing the fall of the moon and the end of days.
You play as a “Cantor”, travelling across the last remaining island in the world.

By performing “moon songs” that resonate with the departed,
you’ll guide wandering souls back to the moon hanging in the night sky.
Along the way, you’ll visit ancient ruins, encounter spirits, and uncover the tales
left behind by a lost civilization—
all while reflecting on the quiet beauty of a world slowly approaching its end.

● Key Features

1. Performance-based puzzle mechanics

Players wield a mysterious instrument called the “Flute Lyre”,
using music to resonate with ancient structures.
By playing the right melodies, you can trigger mechanisms, open pathways,
and reshape parts of the environment to progress through the island.

2. Time & weather systems that shape exploration

  • The passage of time brings changing weather conditions
  • Sunrise and sunset affect tides, opening or blocking certain routes
  • The protagonist’s vitality gradually drains as time goes on

All of these systems work together to add immersion and strategy
to every step of your journey.

3. Gathering & rebuilding

You’ll freely explore Sailu Island,
gather resources, and restore abandoned villages,
leaving behind traces of life and memories as you progress.

Before that, the Steam demo will be available starting December 24,
