[FilterGame × Taiwan 2025 Game Creation Retrospective] First Wave of Featured Games

2025 is drawing to a close, and this year we’ve seen a lot of amazing Taiwanese indie titles on Steam—
such as “Bionic Bay: Swap and Trace”, “Aeruta: Aeruta’s Bread Adventure”, and many more,
all performing impressively on the global stage.
At the same time, there are still many teams quietly working in the background,
steadily polishing their projects and pushing forward.
To help make these efforts and成果 more visible—
The Taiwanese dev team FilterGame launched the
“Taiwan 2025 Game Creation Retrospective Project”.
So far we’ve gathered over 30 games,
which will be showcased at the Bahamut 29th Anniversary Party,
and also presented on a dedicated online event site.

● Exhibition Format For this “Taiwan 2025 Game Creation Retrospective,” we’ll mainly use a **printed booklet** style display at the venue— think of it as a **game magazine** or a **shared doujin compilation**.
Each team is given two A4 pages to freely introduce:
- Their team and game project
- What they’ve achieved or worked on throughout the year
Everything is laid out visually, page by page, like a creative yearbook.
We’ve already received submissions from **nearly 30 teams**, and the project is **still open for entries**. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the titles featured in the **first wave** of announcements!

● Concept & Motivation Over the past few years, the number of teams involved in **game creation in Taiwan** has clearly increased. At the same time, we often hear things like:
- “We just quietly keep developing.”
- “We’re not good at promotion.”
- “We don’t really know how to reach players.”
Many teams tell us: > “We wish more people could simply *see* what we’ve created.”
This project aims to provide another platform where creators can
share their work, discover each other, and be seen by more people.
We’ve intentionally kept the participation rules flexible:
● Anything related to game creation is welcome
● Taiwanese creators are prioritized
● Any format or platform is fine (PC, mobile, indie experiments, etc.)
We’ll continue accepting submissions **until 12/10**!
