This December, one of the biggest offline events in Taiwan’s indie game scene –
G-Eight 2025 Game Exhibition – is about to kick off!
In this article, we’ll go through the first wave of featured titles and ticket information.

● G-Eight 2025 – Event Overview
This year’s G-Eight will be held from December 12th to 14th at Taipei Expo Park.
The event is organized by 6tan, Thomas, Li Yung-Ting and others,
bringing together indie developers and game teams from both Taiwan and abroad.
Event scale at a glance:

- Indie teams: 87 booths
- Student teams: 9 booths
- Adult games: 6 booths
- Company booths: 24 booths
Once again, it’s shaping up to be a very packed show.

1. 燃燼遊戲－《夢魘獵人》”
Burn Out Games is formed by two university students passionate about game development,
specializing in Unreal Engine.
**“Dream Strikers”** is a punchy 3D action game,
aiming to deliver high challenge and intensely satisfying combat.

2. Archetype Blue – “Archetype Blue”
Developed by Korean studio CodenameBom,
**“Archetype Blue”** is a **party-based deck-building roguelike**.
Players fine-tune their decks and party composition to tackle challenging encounters.

3. Sounding Stone－《和平締造者：腥紅帝王》”
A dark **“corruption” RPG** about a noble princess knight whose ideals are slowly eroded.
You play as the high-born princess knight trying to overthrow the usurper known as the “Crimson Emperor,”
only to witness your convictions crumble under pressure and temptation.

**“The Unsettling Guest”** blends **1990s Taiwanese daily life**
with **cults and supernatural horror**, forming a magical realist horror adventure.
The team, 25 Monkey Games (Millennium Ape Games),
was founded by veteran producer Ho Wei-Yi.

5. 遮影盒－《口袋傳奇》”
Developed by Korean studio ShadingBox,
**“Pocket Legend”** is an inventory-focused roguelike deckbuilder.
Managing limited backpack space—fitting in gear and cards efficiently—

6. 四點宵夜幫－《星爆狂歡夜》”
A **two-player versus puzzle game** made by a group of Taiwanese university students,
crafted during late-night dev sessions.
You move star blocks to shape your board,
score by matching patterns, and sabotage your opponent.

making for fast-paced, high-tension battles.

Xu Zhi-Yi is a 29-year-old “average guy”:
IT engineer by day, small-time video creator by night.
After a motorcycle accident,

**“Heavenly Tome”** is an adventure game where an ordinary person
is suddenly transported to a fantastical world.

A solo-developed 3D casual game from Taiwan.

10. 夕暮遊戲－《炎姬》
Evening Game Studio is a Taiwanese indie team focused on 3D action games.
**“Flame Princess”** features a **stylized anime look**
combined with **3D bullet-hell elements** in a third-person action format,

**“buildup!”** is a light, fast-paced competitive game.
While it looks similar to Tetris at first glance,
it introduces physics and collision mechanics:

You travel between historical sites,

13. 淚淚粉絲後援會－《FOLLOW me!》
A team formed out of a university graduation project.
The game’s concept is **“landmine-type girl × social media mystery.”**
**“FOLLOW me!”** blends chat-app style interfaces and a simulated social media UI.
By interacting via “LINE-like” messaging and various feeds,
you dive into the life of the girl **ReiRei**,
experiencing multi-perspective storytelling and multiple endings.

14. 啾便利－《歡迎光臨啾便利》
Creator **Miicheer** uses games to capture cute,
slightly surreal slices of daily life.
**“Welcome to Chiu Mart!”** is a charming, slightly “radio-wave” style interactive novel.
You work a one-week part-time job at a convenience store in “Lojack Town,”
meeting unique coworkers and customers and experiencing a humorous, healing story.

A solo-developed roguelike twist on the classic brick-breaker formula.
Instead of a fixed paddle, you **draw lines** to create reflectors,
