VTuber Courtroom Mystery Game The Real Face of a VTuber Launches on 1/13! Game Overview + Pre-Event Preview
Hello everyone, this is KO (kkll7952) from FilterGame = w =/
If you love mystery themes and VTuber worldbuilding, you should definitely keep an eye on this one!
Developed by the Taiwanese game team Lilien Studio,
the VTuber courtroom mystery game
The Real Face of a VTuber
will officially launch on Steam at 8:00 PM on January 13,
priced at NT$219.
Story Overview
The Real Face of a VTuber centers on the mystery of “a VTuber’s real identity.”
The story begins with a murder case at a VTuber agency.
Multiple suspects simultaneously claim that they are the real person behind the famous VTuber “Kuleepa,”
and each uses “I was livestreaming at the time of the incident” as an alibi.
Players enter the courtroom from the prosecutor’s perspective,
collecting evidence, analyzing testimonies, and cross-examining witnesses
to gradually close in on the truth of the case.
Multi-Ending Deduction System
A DEMO version is also currently available on Steam.
One of the biggest highlights of The Real Face of a VTuber
is that it isn’t a single linear route.
Players can freely choose who to prosecute,
and different choices will affect story branches and the final ending.
The same piece of information, in different contexts:
can become crucial evidence
or turn into a fatal misdirection
This design greatly enhances the realism of deduction,
and also puts players’ overall judgment to the test.
Special Pre-Launch Event
Lilien Studio has also announced a special event
to be held on their official YouTube channel on January 12:
A one-day debut livestream企画
hosted by the in-game VTuber character “Kuleepa.”
The event includes:
Answering players’ questions for the dev team
An official code giveaway raffle
An early reveal of部分 of the正式 story content
As a warm-up企画 ahead of launch, it’s definitely something to look forward to!
Release Info Summary
Release date: January 13, 8:00 PM
Platform: Steam

A combination like VTuber worldbuilding × courtroom mystery × multi-ending storytelling is quite rare, and both the freshness of the theme and the gameplay design stand out.
