1. 《Magika Bounce》 Steam DEMO Now Available!
Developed by a Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology team and published by Waku Waku Games, 《Magika Bounce》 is an unconventional and highly challenging brick-breaking game about fierce battles against girls representing other zodiac signs.
A new official DEMO is now available on Steam. Players who enjoy challenging brick-breaking games may want to give it a try.

2. 《弾射少女 MagStarweaver Express Per aspera ad astraika Bounce》 Launches on August 28
《弾射少女 MagStarweaver Express Per aspera ad astraika Bounce》 is built around the visual novel aesthetics of the 2000s and connects its story through a unique “Ticket Selection” mechanic.
Amid layers of symbolism and metaphor, players will “touch tickets” to read fragmented pieces of the story and gradually uncover the secrets hidden within “星織學園”.

3. Taiwan-Led Steam East Asia Indie Games Celebration Successfully Held
The Taiwan-led second East Asia Indie Games Celebration was held from August 5 to August 19.
This year’s event brought together more than 500 games, with over 50 VTubers joining the streaming festivities to play and introduce games featured in the event.

4. Bahamut ACG Creation Contest Winners Announced, 《Lami: A Cup of Code and Coffee》 Wins Popularity Award
《Lami: A Cup of Code and Coffee》, a game about inheriting your grandfather’s café while combining a wide variety of gameplay elements with town simulation, won the Best Popularity Award at the 2026 Bahamut ACG Creation Contest.

5. Puzzle Adventure 《Saviour & Religion》 Releases DEMO on August 20
Taiwanese indie development studio 萊斯特的帽子 released a free DEMO for its new title 《Saviour & Religion》 on August 20.
The DEMO offers approximately 1 to 2 hours of gameplay, representing roughly half the content of the full version.
The game features puzzle-solving and escape-game elements, while players gradually rediscover their own identity throughout the experience.

6. Survival + Turn-Based Strategy Game 《樂園餘燼》 DEMO Released!
Developed by 微笑的貘, 《樂園餘燼》 is a game about exploring procedurally generated dungeons and taking on deeply strategic turn-based board-game-style battles.
Players will explore ancient civilizations while facing various choices involving survival and strategy.
A PlayTest version is now available on Steam, along with a feedback survey for players to share their suggestions.
7. 《Beastfolk Barber》 Demo Released, Quickly Surpasses 100,000 Wishlists
《Beastfolk Barber》, a narrative hairdressing game developed by Taiwan’s Safe Flight Games and published by SIGONO, released its Steam demo on August 7.
Its popularity quickly surged afterward, with the developers officially confirming that the game has surpassed 100,000 wishlists!

8. Relax, Take Photos and Share Them Online - 《Selfie Worm》 Released on August 14
《Selfie Worm》, a social photography game for Steam developed by Straight Banana, was released on August 14.
The game has already received multiple awards and was selected for both INDIE Live Expo 2026 and TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026 SELECTED INDIE 80.
Players take on the role of a bug photographer, tackling various stages, striking poses, and taking selfies. The gameplay is lighthearted and fun.

9. 《Cat Chaos》 Released on August 5
Control a mischievous cat and cause as much destruction as possible, turning the entire room into a complete mess!
The physics-based destruction game 《Cat Chaos》 was released on Steam on August 5.
Its hilarious and delightfully stressful scenes have also been widely shared on Twitter / X, attracting plenty of attention from players.
10. Interested in Japanese Voice Acting? 《AirBoost Airship Knight》 Shares the Full Commissioning Process
《AirBoost Airship Knight》, a 2D action game filled with charming female characters, recently completed its Japanese voice recording.
